Merry Christmas 2011

since i started working, i seldom see my family already. last night, me, my family (except my mom), some of my relatives (paternal side) and little cousins gathered around for a dinner before Christmas (12mn). i've seen their faces once again, heard their laughters and had small talks with them. 

last week, i met some of my old friends and this week i'll be meeting others as well. tomorrow, the brothers of my father along with their families will be here for our annual reunion and probably before new year i'll be with my other relatives (maternal side) again.

in this season, people are usually gathering around, giving gifts, sharing their blessings to others, some were trying to reconcile, i know these things shouldn't only happen on christmas but to have something like this even just once a year is already enough to be thankful that christmas was invented -whether it is true or not.

worth reading to those who are patiently waiting!

it's almost 5 a.m. and still can't sleep and quite afraid to sleep now because i have an early trip this day (oh coffee, keep me awake all day today pleaasse! ), so i ended up reading articles on the internet! here's one article that i can't help but to share it to you, especially to those who are in the waiting-game  -like me! raise your hands including your feet if you're one of  us. hehehe i'm just seriously kidding.. ^_^

The Game of You

You have come to accept that the relationship with the last love of your life is now over, and you are waiting for your new love to come. The people you are trying to date are either unavailable or you aren’t that into them. Here are 5 reasons why you WILL find love again, and why it sometimes takes the time that it does:

1.) Love comes when you are ready. If you use this dry spell as a time to grow, expand your heart, develop better relationship skills with the people that ARE in your life and get clearer about what you want, then, when your next love opportunity comes – you will be ready! Yes, you probably think you ARE ready! You may want it SO much… But if you were, the next relationship would probably have already presented itself to you. Get prepared. Really get to know yourself to create the relationship you want.

2.) Remember you aren’t alone in this search: The man you are waiting for is also waiting for you, but there are things he may have to do first. He may need to date other women to gain more experience in preparation for you. He may need to get his finances in order, heal from his past relationship, focus on his career or sew his wild oats. He may need to realize he no longer wants to date 20 year olds and he’s tired of meeting women at bars… THEN YOU CAN ENTER INTO THE PICTURE!

3.) Time used wisely while you are alone makes you more desirable. When you focus your alone time on becoming more whole, healthy and balanced inside, you learn to not rely on another person to fulfill all of your needs. This will make anyone much more attracted to you. It’s not about carrying an attitude of “I don’t need you”. It’s about learning how to fully love yourself so that you have an abundance of love to offer and can receive love fully. A big bonus is that when you become more whole emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually you will magnetize someone to you who is also more whole.

4.) Love comes when you least expect it. The fireworks won’t come if you are standing on a street corner waiting for it. Remember there is a natural timing for everything. All the roads are taking you to the right place at the right time. If you feel impatient and try to force what you think you want to come too early, you could sabotage the experience. Let your path unfold as it unfolds and trust the timing as divinely perfect. There is no way to know why love hasn’t come yet and why it is taking the time that it is. The reward will be all the better when you appreciate the nature of good timing.

5.) In the grand scheme of life, a few weeks, months or even years are a minor fragment of the whole picture. Yes, it may be super frustrating and feel unbearable to have to wait. But, when you meet the love of your life, the time of the past will soon be forgotten. You may never forget the hardship of your time alone and the pain of wondering if love will ever come, but once it comes – AND IT WILL COME -- you will be grateful for the now. Your focus will be on building a future and the past will simply no longer matter.

In The Land Of The Morning Calm (South Korea Trip 2011)

whew! i enjoyed our Korea trip so much, i didn't have a single regret that i went there -even if i paid higher for my airfare. if given a chance, i wanna go back, live or work in K-O-R-E-A one of these days (just my wishful thinking). i've watched a lot of koreanovelas on tv and i've seen Korea many times in their movies but i realized even how much you're informed  about a certain place, the learning is always different when you travel or once you are in that place itself. 

after our trip, i wanted to post some of our photos here but i can't decide which one i'm going to choose. 5 out of 6 of us brought a camera during our trip and i collected most of their photos. we have a lot of photos so i decided to make a slideshow instead to compile some of our happy memories there. so here they are, hope you'll enjoy our trip as much as i did. :)
