Love and Blessings

i'm blessed to have friends who know how to share their blessings. last weekend we went to Castillejos, Zambales for an outreach program. it was actually my friends and their friends shared birthday celebrations. it was my second time to be there but the Aeta children's enthusiasm, genuine smiles, warm welcome never fail to touch my heart.
  • giving and the simple joys
singing Happy Birthday to the birthday celebrants on stage
singing and dancing with the children (even if i'm only familiar with some of their songs)
back-to-school   -  school bags donation
even before Jollibee's appearance the children were already excited to see him
(i bet even us were also excited hahaha)
if someday i'll be blessed to have children, i'll definitely gonna teach them how to give
when we were young even a simple balloon can already give us so much joy but as we grow older only few of us can appreciate simple things like this

  • me and the children
i don't understand my face in some of the pictures here, but i'm loving the fun with these kids -felt like i'm a child once again.

if my hair can make their day, then i'll let them play (but no scissors allowed please).. :D

my hair and my hairstylists (i let one of the girls took this photo -excellent job!)

  • the sweetest hug
when we bid goodbye, i was surprised to receive not just a simple handshake or a high-five but a sincere hug from this child after she noticed me (she's one of my hairstylists there) --as if saying thank you, goodbye or i'll miss you.. ahhh i wanna cry.

everything we have right now is not ours, it is from God. anytime, he can take them away from us if he wants to. but if you know how to give from the heart, he'll bless you a thousand folds.

give especially when you almost have nothing, He'll take care of the rest.
He'll provide, all you have to do is to believe!

You too can make a difference, if you want to give any support to these children you may check this site: http://www.aetaministries.com
