indulgence

according to mr. Google.com, today is International Women's Day. thus, i just want to share my little vanity and my latest guilty pleasure as a woman. i don't usually give review about beauty/skin care products because i am not an expert of it but i won't deny anymore that i love makeup. i don't invest much on gadgets or clothes because i am not techie or fashionista but i don't mind investing on beauty/skin care products with quality (quality product doesn't mean expensive, although most of them are quite pricey) , because your skin will stay with you forever while gadgets, clothes or other current trends will eventually obsolete and outdated.

i wear makeup everyday but i prefer a no-makeup makeup look or something natural. i like those products that are long-lasting because i don't like to retouch every now and then.

i can't give much details now but hopefully next time i can give a review each of the product including the price but for now, allow me to share to you my collection that i am currently using.

if you'll  ask my top 5 products i like the most from the pictures above, i'll say the following, Nymph Aura Volumer, Professional Foundation, Collagen Volume Mascara, Oh M Eye Liner, can i choose both Fruit Jelly Tube and Magic Tint Balm for the last spot? :P i just like them both.

Nymph Aura volumer is recommended to use with BB Cream but since i just bought my Professional Foundation so i can't say much about that nymph aura volumer and bb cream but i want to try their tandem in the future, so far i like the outcome of nymph aura volumer and professional foundation on my face, i guess they are just perfect together because nymph aura is like petroleum jelly while the professional  foundation is matte, they balance when you apply them together. i apply the nymph aura volumer before the liquid foundation instead of mixing them together as recommended. i notice the lines on my forehead are less visible and it don't clog my pores, plus my skin is looking so radiant when i'm using them even if my staying longer in an air-conditioned room (which can make your skin dry). shiny but not oily or dewy as they call it.

i just start using collagen volume mascara but i can already recommend it to anyone. it doesn't smudge to your eyes and you can easily remove it using your ordinary face wash and water without the panda looking eyes after washing. i was quite surprised (while i still have the collagen volume mascara on my eyelashes) when i touched it, it's not as hard like the other mascaras that i've tried . you won't be afraid that your eyelashes will be brittle and fall-off in the long-run.

my Oh M Eye Liner is special because i bought it in South Korea when i had my vacation there (nah i just want to boast LOL! -but this is also available to any Etude House branches). i like it because its a fine line eyeliner, long-lasting, doesn't smudge and you can remove it easily. my cousin like it too when she tried it.

can't decide, so i'll be choosing Fruit Jelly Tube and Magic Tint Balm for the last spot, i like them because they are both glossy and it don't give me a chapped lips after using it. so here's for you, mwuah!

if in doubt what products are best for you, better if you'll read reviews on-line/beauty magazines, ask the beauty consultants or your friends who tried it, try the sampler available in the store before buying the items, so you won't end up regretting.

if you're aiming for a perfect skin, very basic of it is to be healthy inside out. never sleep without removing your makeup or cleaning your face, watch out of what you are eating, drink plenty of water, take a good night sleep and of course, no makeup can cover a sad face, aside from your physical appearance, workout your inner beauty which is peace and happiness. the glow that you're trying to achieve will be effortless if you are happy. what's inside will simply reflect outside. :)

embrace who you are but aim for the better you at the same time. ;)
