i was sitting on my bed and suddenly i felt there's something missing, then i realized i forgot to laugh the whole week. it's pretty easy to say that you don't need to go far just to find happiness as you can find it within you but sometimes it's hard to be motivated when you don't have someone or something that can fuel it. i'm not sad, fortunately i can still manage to smile (if ever i find myself losing my smile one day, definitely i am in a big trouble -it's as if saying i am losing myself too ).. i am just missing to hear my laughter. the laughter that will soothe your heart up to the core of your soul. age is just a number but a week of having no laugh is making me feel i am old. maybe i am or maybe i was just busy and the people around me that's why we forgot to stop a minute and laugh. i don't like this feeling, something's telling me that this is not myself.
i went out this day and was kidding myself i'm going to find and buy a good laugh over-the-counter just like buying medicines in a drugstore. when i had nowhere to go, i decided to pamper myself. on my way to the spa, i was walking behind a woman who was cheerfully talking to someone, when i was about to overtake them, the woman glimpsed at me and smiled.. i just simply smiled back but without recognizing the face (tsk, this is because i don't have the perfect vision anymore.. hehe) and then suddenly i realized she looks familiar.. while she was kept on talking i was also kept on listening to her voice, and i already knew that i know her (but of course she doesn't know me).she's no other than but the comedienne miss tesse tomas, the one i'm watching on tv and making me laugh when i'm still yet a kiddo. at that very moment i felt wow that she's in front of me and honored to have her smile at the same time. ^_^
after having a whole body massage i went to a salon and i was amazed with the people who are working there. when i came-in there were more or less ten ladies all line-up for a hair rebonding (usually a session of hair-rebonding takes 4-6 hours depending on the hair type of the customer). i was their last customer of the day and so when it was already my turn, four of them gathered around me (including the hands-on owner of that salon) while they were fixing my hair they were also trying to entertain me with their jokes. the other lady said as a joke to the other hairstylist that i came not because i want to do the hair-treatment but because i have no one to talk to and i immediately responded "so is this the place where i can buy someone to talk to?" and the other hairstylist replied "oh yes ma'am, when you feel bored and no one to talk to you can always visit us here" while striking a pose like a supermodel at the back and we were all laughing. they said that the scene i've seen when i came-in earlier is their typical day (7 x a week) and they're already fully-booked for hair-rebonding up to the first month of next year (seriously??), i'm just blessed they were able to accommodate me because two customers didn't come this day. i was amazed because inspite of their busy and tiring day they still manage to laugh and gave me a good treatment like i am their first customer of the day -they have so much energy. i also asked them (since they're already fully-booked) if i could still come some other time without reservation and the lady shouted "give her a membership card" (even if they don't offer any memberships) and the other one said "you may come back again tomorrow" and we're all laughing again until the end. i'm happy with the result they did maybe because there's so much laughter in the air when they're doing it. in short when someone is happy with what they're doing they can bring-out their best creativity. whatever you're doing when you put your heart on it definitely you'll see a good result after all.

| i felt like i'm one of the biggest celebrities in the country the way they treat me or apparently they just want to make it done very soon and go home. anyway they still made me happy. according to the magazine i recently read.. "always give a good tip for a good service because that's a compliment and never give a tip for a poor service because that's an insult" and because they made me laugh this day apart from their good service i gave them a good tip as my sign of appreciation. ^_^ |
