as far as i remember, unlike my previous birthdays, this is the only birthday that i never felt excited. it's not because i am not happy but maybe because it's not yet getting into my nerves, or it's not yet flowing into my system -the acceptance of the fact that today is the start (again) of my new year. if people didn't greet me, i might tend to forget about this day. i am not expecting any big surprises but i still don't know what will happen later -i didn't prepare any. i just want to pass this day with peace just like any other day.
nevertheless, i would like to say my thank yous, first to God -for giving so much blessings, for hearing all my prayers, for never leaving me alone through all my success and failures, for being so kind and for loving me and for everything that i (must but) forgot to say my gratitude. second to my parents, for allowing me to live and experience life here on earth, for being so patient and for raising me well with love and care. next to all my friends and for everyone who remembered my day and special thanks to all of my dearest friends who did an effort to surprise me last saturday (though my realization came late, i thought it was just our simple gathering but indeed i was surprised! - very late reaction hahaha) to all of you from the bottom of my heart, thank you very much! ♥
oh God, i still can't believe i'm already 26!
...my age can't be considered young anymore but i'm very much thankful that i've reached this number -for many have died young and never experienced what it feels like to be 26.
i actually don't feel like growing old, i just feel wiser each year!
